The Joy Formidable is back with another stunning single and the world is a better place for it! The finest purveyors of spacey yet hook-infused alternative rock in the game have outdone themselves with their new jam, “The Hat.” Their latest song is approximately six minutes of odd time signatures, lush vocals, guitar wails, buoyant bass grooves, and the inevitable but oh-so-appreciated trip to guitar riff city.  It's really hard to describe the sonic journey The Joy Formidable takes their listeners on, it’s probably best just to strap and glue your finger to the replay button.
