PUNK DUO VANGELISM MAY BE THE COOLEST THING TO HAPPEN IN “COLORADO”

Formed in the height of lockdown, Vangelism are back to provide you with some more highly relatable material, in the form of their latest single “Colorado” from their newly released LP Boredom Factory.

With it now being over a year since the WHO declared the coronavirus outbreak as a pandemic, Vangelism once more channels their frustration through their addictive lo-fi punk aesthetic. “Nothing cool ever happens when you’re sitting on a couch playing videos” open Vangelism on “Colorado”, speaking on the fear of missing out or FOMO through fast-paced drum machine grooves and massively fuzzed FIDLAR-sounding guitars.

Touching on the new single, the duo says, “this year has been the year of stuck and not to be poetic but ‘stuck sucks’. The song is a no f***s given, straight to the point bit of power pop covered in dirt that would make a rat feel right at home delivering pizzas”.

Now while you take a moment to ponder that image for a moment, check out “Colorado” below:
