NEW WOLVES UNVEIL NEW FOLKY SYNTH-POP GROOVE IN “DRAW ANOTHER CIRCLE”

Imagine walking around the same block over and over again with ever so slightly different scenes occurring around you. It seems this is what I envisioned while listening to New Wolves’ new single “Draw another circle”. The Welsh indie band wonderfully combines the sounds of folk and synth-pop to craft a stunningly progressive indie sound. 

Their new single introduces itself with seductive lullaby-like synth tones and dreamy guitar chords, before emitting a signature folky synth-pop groove somewhere between the likes of Phoenix and Beach House. As for the vocals in the track, they are light, delicate and heavily reverberant highlighting the infectious chorus guitar melody. 

The group released three singles last year with “Draw another circle” to be their final self-released single. The band have recently signed with Echoism Records, due to release an EP and album in the near future.
